The Weakest Passport Power

Passport

Do you travel often? I haven't traveled much since Covid19. Since I visited Japan a few years ago, I've only traveled domestically. Of course, a passport is a necessary for overseas travel. Without a passport, it's difficult to even depart Korea. I know that the Korean passport is the most powerful in the world. You can visit many countries without a visa. Why Afghanistan is the lowest Passport Power?

Restricted International Travel:

Citizens from countries with weak passports face significant hurdles in traveling abroad, as they are required to obtain visas for most destinations, often involving lengthy and complex application processes.

Challenges in Visa Acquisition:

Due to the low trust in their national documents, applicants may experience higher rejection rates and more stringent scrutiny during visa evaluations.

Limited Opportunities for Employment and Education:

A weak passport can impede access to international job markets and educational institutions, limiting personal and professional growth prospects.

Negative Impact on Economic Development:

Restricted mobility hampers international trade, investment, and tourism, which are vital components for economic growth and development.

My Thoughts

Even though it's hellish Korea, I should be thankful that I was born in Korea. The countries above are countries that I probably won't travel to, and I don't want to go to. Most of them are dangerous and unfamiliar... I looked it up and found that there are countries that are banned from travel....

Most of the countries with low passport power are in the Middle East or Africa. Most of them are politically and economically unstable countries.

Korea can visit 192 countries with Visa Free!
